i use a standard left handed two point arrow rest for hunting , but for the fishing rig i found it easier to invert a right handed two point arrow rest as about 80% of the shots are almost strait down . by inverting the rest it holds the arrow inside the rest instead of on top of the two contact surface area points of the rest . ( simpley putting it inside the "v" instead of on top of the "v" ) this keeps the arrow from wandering on your downward angle so that your foot doesn't become the aquired target .
there is a new arrow rest that i have seen that is a ring filled with brissels . it will keep your arrow from wandering while at rest or on the draw . the problem that i see is that for hunting you have to make a huge movement to load or reload an arrow . thats a fatal mistake for anyone that hunts .
the strap that is hanging from the base of the limbs is for carrying the bow , made from an old duffle bag strap and two s-hooks from a bungie cord . it keeps the weight of the bow on my sholder instead of in my arm .
