I got lucky... My wife wanted to learn to fish the moment i met her. She learned alot over the years and still loves it. Not as much time to do it now that we have small children but they are both old enough now that it will become a whole family event instead of just my son and me. My son has been fishing with me since he was 1 year old. I think he loves it more than i do. He is 4 and can outcast most of my friends and the people at the local pond..[sly]
As for getting her out ONCE, say something like "if you will go with me this ONE time, i will do whatever you want to do ONE time". Maybe, just maybe, she will fall in love with it and you won't have to do "her" ONE time thing.[
