I can confirm sturgeon in the river between Lake Walcott and American Falls Dam. My Brother-In-Law was fishing near Eagle Rock when he came across an older gentleman fighting a very big fish. When he landeded it both were suprised to see a sturgeon. There are also many reports of people seeing them rise right below the American Falls Dam. I also know of a sturgeon caught a few miles down river from Lake Walcott as well. Hope this information helps. [/reply]
This is exciting. I¡¯m not that greedy trying to catch one. I will be happy enough just seeing one some time around here, say AF dam, Massacre Rocks, or Milner.
Will be up to IF for shopping today, and will definitely check the water above the dam to see if it¡¯s the lucky day for me.
