Almost skunked at the Berry

If it makes you feel better I was tubing with my brother up there on Saturday for 3 hours and I only landed one and missed 2 or 3 others. Last year this time we were killing them were I was fishing but this yeaars has been different. I think you just have to find where they are and then have the right stuff - a boat definitely helps to cover the lake to find them. I caught mine on a pointer but also lost one while casting - $15 is too expensive but they do work dang well. The berry is acting a little different for me this fall so i am in the same boat as you - still looking for them because I know that I have the gear that works!
