[size 3]For several years, I deer hunted the crawford mountain range. The deer there were wintering from Wyoming, where I assume that most of their diet was quite sparse, sage brush, etc. Yet, the flavor of the deer there was as good as any I have tasted. Just the opposite, the deer that I have taken in Logan and Black Smith Fork canyons, where the forage is lush, were not nearly as good as table fare. Go figure.[/size]
