Which ice auger?

For me, a power is the way to go with ice over 6 inches thick. The way I fish I drill several {up to 10 or 12} holes before I start fishing. Think about it, how many times do you catch a fish with your offering on the way down or right after it sinks? I only jig a hole for about 5 minutes and then move to another. Every time you do this it's like a "cast" , giving the fish a new look at it. Also on your power augers it is wise to drain all the gas after each trip. Then start and run it dry. It's not that hard and keeps old gas from clogging things up.
