[cool][#0000ff]ZONKER, a BFTer over on the float tubing board, from Oregon, has posted quite a few reports on his adventures with carp on a flyrod. This past year was his first real attempt and he really developed a passion for flyrod carpin'...almost to the extent that he quit fishing trout and steelhead. Almost.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]There are increasingly more fly fishing fans around the country who have discovered that carp WILL take flies, but they are every bit as difficult to fool as the wiliest brown. And, once you hook one they definitely stretch your string and make the reel sing.[/#0000ff]
