Welcome aboard and thanks for the inquiry.
That particular river is murky most of the time due to the amount of flow. I would suggest some Carolina rigging using the Carolina Keepers and at least a 3/4 to 1oz weight above it.
A Gamakatsu 2/0 hook and some Oxblood colored Yamamotos in the 4 inch length. You may get a little better action too if you use a Brush Hawg type of plastic.
Cast into the Grass areas. The grass is in the lower flowing spots and the Bass are more likely to hang out there.
While the sun is out and in full brightness, cast in the shadows. The Bass will always look for cover and structure.[cool]
