The one that I have really is not a headlamp, but it is a head band that has a sleeve to fit a small mag light (the (2)AA battery size).
I find it convienient to use because I can slide it out easily and use it like...well...a flashlight.
Also it was very inexpensive.
I also have a headlamp with straps that go around and over the top of my head and I find that it works best if I wear a hat with it which is not very convienient. Needless to say I do not use it.
