well, its not over yet...i went out and tried the reel again in my yard, and a few times it cast out smoothly the entire 97ft. other times it would catch at about the 67 foot mark (i had one of those rolling measuring devices the police use to measure stuff at car wrecks. since my dad is a state trooper, i kinda borrowed it lol). i noticed several of the times that it caught around 67ft, the retrieve had turned on. the little posts that release the line had popped back out. i got another reply from zebco, and they told me they'd need my address to send me the part, and since in the first email they said they thought the problem was the spinner head, i assume they're going to send me a spinnerhead,
