creel limits, possesion limits, that kind of thing...

i know i post a lot of threads, if thats a problem, just let me know and ill chill. but where i fish im not having much luck, and i want to go somewhere else, and ive been reading on an alabama outdoors website about creel limits and stuff. first of all, whats a creel limit, and if im catching and releasing, not keeping any of the fish i land, do i need to worry about it? i know my luck would probably be better at a different locale, and i want to catch more fish.
