Still experiencing difficulties with trilene 17lb line...

I circled to posible scrapes, I say posible because it is out of focus.

did you use a pc camera on that?

can you give me a pick of the spinner head so I can have a full scope of what I am looking at.?


below is a zebco prostaff.

note the scrape on the inside of the cap. this caused line cuts, but the problem was located under the star on the reel, what had happened was a peice of forgen object was lodged keeping the macanical parts from fully setting all the way to the back of the rear reel housing, thus the spinnerhead scraped against the top of the reel cap cutting the line,

What would happen is the line would get ground and worn thin and the line would snap with out notice at any time, including casting. simptom was a fealing of drag while reeling in, light grinding, poor casting, line snapping.
