Still experiencing difficulties with trilene 17lb line...

some of the other guys may have different prefferance to which line they use, they can tell you about thier choices and why.

I like the way the sensation feals. I do have to take extra care in tying my knots when fishing for atlantic salmon or giant carp, stergeon and catfish walleye. meaning I have to tie a no slip knot on the end of my tale after tieing on my terminal tackle. but I dont mind sence it gives me the best results for my money.

I like the way it feels,
I like the way it lays down,
I like the way it spools on my openfaced reels,
casting is smooth as silk.
It sets the hook well.

I use silver thread on my smaller reels.
