Still experiencing difficulties with trilene 17lb line...

[/left] [left] [/left] [left]look to see if the pins are groved.[/left] [left] [/left] [left]another thing that can happen is line twist. if you are not using a barrol swival or swival snap line twist can accure in side your reel, causing a loop around one of your thread pins. this is even more posible with stiffer lines.[/left] [left] [/left] [left]so depending on the grade of 17 pound test line you got you may have gotten a trolling line that line twist is just about a given on most every cast when spinning reels are concerned. If you still have the box the line came in, check to see if it is high abraision resistant. If it is you deffenantly have the wrong line on your reel.[/left]
