thanks hound, i had completely forgotten about that diagram. right now i have a hook set above a sinker, with is on the end of the line. i have time to redo it though. it is now 4:24 am. i actually got up to go fishing, and i walk outside, and its windy, nice n cool, and then someone catches me eye, i look up, and lightning. that sucks!
