A Michigan family is mourning the death of a MarineCorps major and father of two. Major Kevin Nave, a veteran of the 1991 Persian Gulf War is the first Michigan native reported killed in the war with Iraq. Military officials told the wife of Major Kevin Nave that her 36 year-old husband died in combat. Nave was from Oakland County's White Lake Township. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. He and his wife lived there with their two children.
