Hey Mactuna,
I am from Utah as well. Comins is a decent 4 hour drive but worth it for Pike. Hardly anyone likes the pike that were illegally introduced in this lake. It is a great rainbow trout fishery with some football size trout in it. I have seen pike larger than 40 inches through the channel there. I have also talked with the fisheries biologist there and he has given me great information. They want you to keep all pike caught and do not release them. I wont though. Only keep the bigguns. Even then, I can get a fiberglass mount that is just as nice. I hope they keep it a pike fishery. No one will like me for that comment though. Oh well, leaves more pike for me. If you ever want to give it a shot, let me know.
