If you will be travelling through Stanley--you mentioned Salmon and Sun Valley, and Stanley is between the two--you can easily catch a limit of rainbows. Fish the Salmon River anywhere from 5 miles on either side of the town. Salmon eggs always produce well in this stretch. You can't miss! P.S.: if this is your first trip to this area, visit Redfish and Stanley lakes for dramatically beautiful views.
