well try some rooster tail inline spinners or rapala cd-7 or a small jig... i fished all of those with success, caught some nice rainbows with all three of those lures... its real fun to be reelin in and feel a nice trout strike the bait... you gotta spend at least one day with some artificials next time you go fiishin for trout.
