[cool][#0000ff]Aha! Ya got me. Yes, that has become one of my favorite colors the past two years...for many different species. I usually fish it with a special red glitter jig head I make, but that fish came on my (original) "hanger-shot" rig. It is like a drop shot, but I rig it with a 4" length of clothes hanger for weight, on the bottom, and then leave a 6" dropper about 18" - 24" up. I tie on a size 4 red ring-eye hook and then thread on one of those tube jigs...either the red/chartreuse or glitter white. Then, I tip them with worm or perch meat. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]That rig is ideal for dragging around from my tube, using my second pole permit, while I cast or vertical jig with other stuff. The piece of clothes hanger (with a looped end) is lighter than lead and does not snag much in either rocks or weeds. It takes both perch and walleyes...and trout, and white bass, and catfish, and wipers...[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The tubes I use mostly are from Cabelas. They stock them in their "Lehi Temple", but I usually buy them in 100 packs online. [#0000ff]I use most of the colors, but my favorites are the red/chartreuse (205) And the silver/white (037). You can make a great "pale perch" for Jordanelle by using a fine tip black sharpie marker to put 3 or 4 vertical bars on the sides.[/#0000ff]
