Thanks, Mike for the great report. I'm heading up mid week and hopefully less boats although that's okay too.
BTW: Went up to Cascade yesterday scouting campgrounds for my pop-up. The state park CG is open with few trees for shade but a great ramp. Didn't like the Poison Creek or Rainbow area too much for launch/camp but liked the French Creek CG for camping with all the shade.
Camped at Redfish Lake last week. Upper Salmon is full of stockers. Can't miss. We fished Little Bayhorse Lake near Challis and it was also full of rainbows. Beautiful drive in there as well. Stopped by the old ghost town of Bayhorse since I own the original Territorial documents to the millsite, town and associated mines. Soon to be a new state park.[
