I use a 1/2 inch socket for most of them but I have used bigger sockets for more muddy water but when I tyied up the pike spawn I used a 7/16 socket. I try to keep them in the freezer uptill the night before I go fishing. If you plan on using everything up. It will stay good in the fridge for about 2-3 weeks.
