[cool]Hit the lake at 11:30am. Again there was no wind. I got a small breeze every once in awhile. Saw some slurps in the main lake but they were too far to kick the floattube to get. Went to another bay and was able to stick a 1.75 lb largemouth on a Gulp minnow grub. I was going to go across the bay to look for more LMB when I saw two huge slurps; they were each about a half acre in size. I broke out the 6weight flyrod at went to them. Finally got to cast at one and hooked up. Two seconds later POP. Sucker took my fly! While tying on another, the fish came to within six feet of the tube. Was able to sit in one spot and had the slurps come to within casting distance. I then was able to hook and land four stripers. I kept one and started to go back in. While going back I was able to cast to one other slurp and landed another good striper for tacos. Total, 5 stripers and one LMB. And still no wind. A nice hot day on the water.
