[cool][#0000ff]Wanna know the real tragedy of the story? DWR could have prevented that kid getting killed. Someone else had camped in that spot the night before and had a bear raid their camp. They reported it to DWR but nobody showed up so they left the campsite. There was nothing posted to warn other campers that there was a bear in the area...and the people who lost their son had no idea they were in danger or that there had been a bear in that camp the night before.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]In most camping areas around the conntry it is recognized that once a bear loses its fear of humans and begins raiding camps it needs to be removed. If not, it is only a matter of time before there is an "encounter".[/#0000ff]
