never really tried anything but in use with a downrigger but i assume if you can get a lure down to where they are and stick it in there face they will take a wack at it. I typically catch kokes from10-25' down untill it gets hot then from 25 to 45. Kokes from my fishing experience can be really picky some days and if you can't get your lure to with 2' depth of where they are hanging then you won't pick themup on the other hand i have picked up tons within a 15' water column.FISHING. ( so with a diving lure you would have to let out exactly the same amount of line combined with same boat speed to get the same depth). My opinion, get downriggers if you want to consistently catch kokanee. Again, only my opinion.
