Need help with getting a fishing rod + reel

I need some help with getting a rod and a reel, it's really only for this lake I will be going to and any other lake that is the same type. I know nothing about rods or reels, I've always used other peoples when I've gone fishing. I will be getting the rod and reel at sports authority, I know this isn't the best place to get supplies, but I've only got a few hours to get everything ready. I'm also on a budget, the total cost HAS to be underneath $80. I know that I can't get an excellent setup for that low ammount of money, but I've got to deal with it. The type of fish are going to be warm water fish with largemouth and a few smallmouth.

I also would like some information about good brands of poles and reels, so I don't get ripped of and so I know the quality of the items I'm getting.

Please help me find a great setup from sports authority, under $80!
