First off, guys it is no difference casting a pistol pete than any other woolly bugger. Slow down, larger loops.
Now, Macfly, we have had this discussion many a time. Does using a flyrod, line, etc make it fly fishing or is it the fly? I know guys that fish a worm with a fly rod and line.
I personally think it is the fly. You call baitcasters anyone using a worm, powerbait, eggs, ect. You call a person using a jig, jig fishing, and a person throwing spoons, mepps, ect. fishing LURES.
So, if you are using a FLY, does it matter how you get it out there?
Are you FLY fishing?[shocked]
