Nope. Never used meat for trolling Salmon or Tout on Lake Michigan.. Walleyes are a different story in Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay but, out of Sheboygan and Port Washington I've never used any meat for Salmon or Trout.
I'm always up for trying new things - a guy can never have too many techniques in his bag of tricks.
I'm not saying I have things "figured out" on Michigan but I can honestly say I've never drawn a skunk. There have been some tough days out there - no doubt about it. Days that make you wonder if you're even in the right boat.. or even the right lake [pirate]
