I was talking about Common Carp or Mirror carp when I said "carp". I was talking about Utah Sucker or Mountain Sucker when I said "sucker". It is easy to get the species mixed up. I'ver heard people use the term "sucker" to describe Common Carp, Grass Carp, Mirror Carp, Mountain suckers, Utah Chubs, Pikeminnow(aka squawfish), whitefish, sculpin or any species that someone considers a "trash fish".
