[cool] Hey desertrat ! , I'm up here in central Minn, so I don't fish the Mississippi , But what I hear, it can be excellent this time of the year ! I know that some people will go to the backwaters and fish big pike under a tip-up through the ice, Make sure the ice is safe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the walleyes really start biting this time of the year below the dams down there, Maybe someone down in the cities can answer this better ? HAPPY FISHING, and remember -----------keep the eaters, not the breeders !
