Also watch out for the breaker in your bathroom to blow when you plug them in. Sounds crazy but it's true. My dad has a set that we have used for years. Brought them over to my house and they wouldn't work. Next morning my wife found the breaker in the bathroom was triped. She didn't think much about it other then to reset it and moved on. Several months later had a short in the house and had to have a electrican come to track it down. Mentioned that everytime I tried to get worms the breaker in the bathroom upstairs would blow. He couldn't stop laughing. Then he informed me code required the outside plugs to be on breakers like the bathroom so you don't kill yourself if something shorts by getting wet. Since the shockers are simply a short they blow the breaker. He told me to be carefull and find a outlet in the house not on that line. They work well but can be dangerous. Something to think about. I still use them but keep my kids back now.
