On low speed, I didn't have much trouble steering with a fin. On high speed, the toon wanted to go around in circles.
It didn't seem to matter how much I used the fin, it still tried to go in circles
When I go full speed mine wants to turn so I sort of twist my knees sorta like sking and hold my feet and fins like I'm in a turn and just hold them there and it seem to work out pretty good and keep me in a straight line.
My oars were in the water on the first trip and that was throwing me way off. I couldn't get them to stay out of the water
Check out ATV handlebar gunrack to hold your oars thats what we have and they work great but I don't know if they would work on all boats
