Those are some good tips. It may not be noticable right away, but keeping bait alive will save you a ton of money through out the fishing season. 3 or 4 bucks a pop adds up quick.
My father in law has an old wooden boat under a shade tree in the back yard we keep night crawlers alive in. Sometimes we stick a few in there my son digs up under a shade tree. When we get back from a fishing trip, what ever we don't use we toss back in the boat. We have a very fine dirt in the boat covered with nice, big leaves. We make sure and keep the top damp and keep it covered to hold in the moisture. We also feed them corn meal.
