		For the most part the water was clear. There were a few spots where run off creeks dumbed into the river and would create some muddy water along that shoreline for a short distance. A few hundred yards downstream the water was clear again. Here's a picture of waterfall from one of the many run off creeks.

I was fishing down lower on the river closer to Heise but I think any part of the South Fork would be good right now.
The flows on the South Fork are controlled by Pali es Dam. Here's a link to a couple websites you should find helpful.

I doubt the South Fork will get muddy like it did last year because we don't have the snow pack we did last winter.
