Manual Ice Augers

I have the Strikemaster Lazer with the 6" cut. Today it was taking me, on average, 60 seconds to get thru close to 2 feet of ice. Biggest problem I have is getting thru that last half inch of ice at the bottom of the hole. For some reason I keep getting hung up on it. Takes several tried to finally get thru it.
