Went out on Saturday to try for some bass...
First went to Black Canyon dam, don't bother, its very muddy and high in the river as well as the res. The water is spilling over the top creating a very beautiful but LOUD waterfall.
Next went to Sawyer Pond in Emmett. Got one bite when we first got there (about 9:30a), but then not another nibble for almost 2 hours from a float tube. Lots of people fishing, only saw 1 guy catch 1 fish. Water was about 52 degrees
Next went to Caldwell Pond, I caught a couple nice bass in a matter of about an hour. One was a baby, one was 12", the other was 15". My buddy had one on but his line broke. Spinners seemed to be working for me. Water was 56 degrees.
Take care!
