[black]Dusty, I am an Orvis Endorsed Guide so I wear Orvis gear. First is a pair of 100% Polyester second skin uppers and lowers (very thin and light weight) then usually I put the Orvis Fleece Bibs over but this day just my levis (and NO you shouldn't wear cotton under breathables, but this is what I had on) and on top, a sweatshirt and fleece Wind Stopper Jacket. Socks, I wear the Orvis wool Wading socks (Thin around the ankles so they don't bunch, expensive but, oh so worth it)[/black]
[black]Gloves, Orvis fingerless Wind Stoppers.[/black]
[black]I haven't worn Neo for years. A gentlemen that was out with me was wearing 5mm neo's and when we came in, he complained about his rear end being cold and numb. Granted he rear was in the water.[/black]
[black]The only thing on me that got cold was my fingers and my toes (I think that was cause my wet wading boots were a little small to be wearing with the neo booty in my waders) and of course my face. Everything else was just fine.[/black]
I do believe you get what you pay for. This might cost a lot, but they don't wear out as quickly. My under gear is 5 yrs old and still looks like new.
