Willard Bay Wiper Tournament
#2
[black]Hey Mike,[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]Since Willard is the only body of water around these parts (Utah) that has Wipers in it, if it did indeed move, it would have to by necessity be a tournament for other species.[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]There is no real official word on Willard yet as far as what the water level will be at that time, But, if there is enough water, the tournament could be still be held - it would just have to be without larger boats. [/black]

[black]There has already been some discussion here on the Utah board regarding a different type of tourney involving float tubes, pontoons or other craft besides larger boats. Even waders and shore anglers would be able to participate given the right conditions.[/black]

[black]As far as changing the venue completely, I am sure there are those that would still be interested. And, there certainly are enough large bodies of water to have a tourney on. Some that come to mind with possible large fish or multiple species are Strawberry, Bear Lake, Utah Lake, and Pineview.[/black]
