I am really excited for soft water wally action. My gramps and I have sworn to figure them out at DC this spring. Last year we could only hook up with smallies. I have studied up on some new areas and tricks for the creek. we have caught them in utah lake for years, but I am not a fan of the water conditions there. I will post a pic of my first walleye trip when I was 10, we SLAYED them at bird island on white 3" curly tail grubs. Willard should be a blast in a tube until the boats get back on, then I'll be in a boat. I would love to hook up with somone on a boat or tube trip on deer creek for walleye. We nail the trout every time, just can't figure out the 'eyes.
