Sharing some pontoon ideas
#2
Once again, I can't seem to get the text and pictures into the same post.

Anyway, I got tired of disassabling kickboats, and didn't feel saft hauling them in a pickup or open trailer, so I aquired a utility trailer, and modified it to the pictures above.

I built two carpeted bunkers in the bottom for rods and oars, installed the mid-height shelves for a second boat, carpeted the trailer interior, and setup boxes in the front for batteries, motors, and two large nylon bags for boots, waders, PFD, etc.

Going this route, I am able to just hook on, and take off. It provides me with the security required to park it anywhere (hotels, parking lots, etc.) without concern.

I hope that some of my ideas will help out anyone with my previous problems.
