I bought the best winter coat I have ever owned in Oregon one year....(I used to travel a lot) -- I love that part of the country.
I was just yankin' your chains about not tubeing if you have the chance -- I went the whole month of October only getting a chance to go twice....(after a brutal January and now February -- I am kicking myself for not taking a few more trips while I could....)
On the bright side -- March will be here before we know it...And I have a new pair of those funny fitting neoprene waders to try out for the colder waters. (I have always been a breathable guy -- but most of the cold weather float tube messages I have read always praise the neos)
