[black][/black]
[black]Freshwater Drum(Aplodinotus grunniens) [aka: Sheepshead, croakers] Has the widest natural range of all North American sportfish.[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]Red Drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) [aka: Redfish, Red Bass, Channel Bass, Puppy Drum] These are the ones you are probably more familiar with(if you have caught Drum in rivers that empty into salt water). They are Salt water/brackish/fresh water denizens. They have been stocked in some Fresh water reservoirs but are managed as a non-reproducing fish in those places.[/black]
