The Coronado actually has a balance between the two choices that you mentioned. It is not as big as the CD90 nor does it even come close to my Daiwa DTE 750. The Diawa is huge in comparison and doesn't have the baitrunner on it.

I'm sure you will like it. I use the CD30 quite a bit for surf fishing. I load it up with 10lb Cajun.[cool]
