Bear Lake Cisco run

I've never eaten herring but I'm sure they are simular to cisco. Some of the folks in Garden city put on a cisco fry every year, they call it the "Cisco Disco". They have deep fried cisco, scones and fries and they have that great Bear lake Rasberry jam to go on the scones, great stuff. Never tried canning them, I use most of them for bait during the year when fishing at Bear lake. WH2
