Chucky's bait shop in the first one was on lake rebecca, in Rockford MN between Buffalo and the twin cities, all the ice fishing scenes were done on that lake too. I don't know where they did the summer one, the lake is unfamiliar to me.
Also not sure about the city from the hill, I am pretty sure it was not filmed in wabasha though...
