I just assumed that the 365 day license would not significantly influence the number of people who bought fishing licenses in Idaho. The same number of people buying licenses but not buying licenses as often would result in less revenue.
If the 365 day license increased the number of people buying licenses enough to offset the revenue loss by people not buying licenses as often then it would be a win-win situation. However, I haven't heard anything about the Idaho F&G even considering the 365 day license. If someone could convince the F&G a 365 day license would increase revenue and increase consumer satisfaction I’m sure the F&G would look into it.
