Locals get authority to enforce access site rules

It used to be that way, when the top dnr officer was an elected position. even the govener had to watch his step around conservation laws.

the dnr c/o was only over seen by the courts of the land.

now the dnr has to bow to the wims of every governing body in the state from state to county to township to city to villige.

some one dammed up the swamp behind my house with a steelwall I cant get the dnr to inforce the laws governing damming of a swamp and flooding my property....
