Great report and pics. I find sometimes that the fishing is actually pretty good during Winter. I get more action from the stripers in late-November and December. I believe this may because there is less shad and bait fish to go after. Thus, when they catch a whiff of some cut anchovy, they go crazy over it. I'm looking forward to trying my luck during Christmas week. I'll make sure to give you guys the full report and pics upon my return.
