bdn06,
I typically use a jigging rapala on one of my 5 poles that I use while ice fishing. I mostly use it as an attractor and weight. I fish a small ice fly below the jigging rapala. I don't catch very many fish on the jigging rapala itself. I would bet I have caught more than 50 rainbows on the ice fly below the jigging rapala for every 1 rainbow that I have caught on the jigging rapala. If I fished places with carnivorous fish more often I would probably catch more fish on the jigging rapala. Yesterday the jigging rapala and ice fly combo in 20-25 feet of water probably had 8 or 10 bites in an hour and 45 minutes at Deep Creek.
