Small Boat Registration Fixed

I talked to State Representative Ben Ferry from Corinne today in the store. He is the chairman of the Appropriations committe and oversees all of the finances of the Department of Natural Resources. He told me about their fixing the problem with the registration of pontoon boats also. He said they had to write definitions of canoes, etc. so the State Tax Commission could get the right assessments on the small watercraft that had never been done before. He said when you get your next registration notice there will be a section on there telling you how to apply to get the refund back from the State on the overpayment you may have made. Acey
